SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL Reroll & Early Fast Progression Guide

Presently, there’s no pressing need to move swiftly, but if you’re keen on making progress sooner rather than later, here are my suggestions.

Or:

If speed isn’t a priority right now, that’s fine. But for those who wish to advance more quickly, here are some recommendations.

By organizing things in this manner, you quickly finish all the Primary Story Missions automatically, saving time, which then enables you to tackle the 5th Level of Daily Enhancement Quests immediately, allowing for daily clean-ups. Additionally, it lets you farm challenging Story Quests on autopilot, helping you advance the development of any SSR characters you can access.

Rerolling

For this tactic to work effectively, it’s advantageous to have at least one of the 00 Exia or Sazabi characters in your roster, if possible.

Both options work fine, but one might present a challenge due to its terrain. For instance, Zeta Gundam HARD 2, where you collect Psycho Gundam (SSR), an effective Defender, is an AIR-type stage, making it incompatible with Sazabi. I suggest choosing Exia instead, but don’t worry if you can’t do it right away; you can easily return to complete it later as clearing HARD isn’t necessary for unlocking the next series or chapters.

Clearing Main Story – Normal (and optionally HARD)

Completing the main story levels is inevitable at some point, and it’s particularly useful if you’re interested in exploring advanced Main Story development. This process also provides access to additional SR pilots that can be purchased with credits. Therefore, your initial clearance of the Main Story stages should not be considered a waste of AP. Instead, we aim to maximize the utility of the resources gained from this AP usage.

To optimize your strategy, it’s advisable to prioritize enhancing your free squad, as you can field two teams in Main Story stages, one series-specific (Series Squad) and your free squad which can consist of any five Mobile Suits. Initially, when starting with Mobile Suit Gundam, you won’t encounter significant issues due to its relatively low combat power prerequisites.

In Hard mode, you primarily receive materials for enhancing Monster Stones and upgrading weapons, with very few Experience CDs dropping, except during the initial playthrough. Using Action Points (AP) in Hard mode beyond the first clear tends to slow your progression, but it didn’t deter me from investing a significant amount of AP in leveling my The O.

Getting and Maintaining a Baseline Level for your FREE Squad

Instead of concentrating on acquiring EXP Materials (MS and Pilot) for short-term use within your Free Squad at the outset, prioritize materials that will serve you well in the long term. If your Free Squad is robust enough, it’s not essential to invest resources early into Series MS when you are already engaged in a series.

As you advance through each Series, the number of Series Squad MS available to you gradually increases from 3 to 5. However, at the start of a new series and as you proceed, the game provides you with low rarity MS that are roughly level-appropriate to fill those slots for you.

As a devoted player, my initial step in utilizing the complimentary Squad would be to upgrade my preferred Mobile Suit (MS) and pilots. I aim to elevate them to levels between 20 and 40, depending on whether I’m planning for 4-star clears on HARD early or simply wish to advance through the series steadily. This ensures that my MS can withstand attacks and counteractions effectively, rather than being easily defeated. Resources needed for this upgrade can be obtained by completing Story Quests and your daily Upgrade Quests.

The baseline should be adapted based on your current combat power needs for each stage, although the level provided by the free MS (Mobile Suit) and pilots given to you at this point in the game can serve as a decent guide for an approximate baseline.

Rushing Breakpoints on your Carry

As a gamer, I’d advise you to keep your Squad at the bare minimum baseline level. Instead, divert all additional upgrade materials towards either my Carry, be it 00 Exia or Sazabi. The objective here is to raise the levels of Exia/Sazabi to around 70-80, while keeping Setsuna/Char at about 45.

In your MS project, aim to take it as far as you can, since the purpose behind using 00 Exia/Sazabi is for them to independently defeat low-level enemies in a single hit. Using Auto Battle often results in AI neglecting to set up Support Attacks for one-shots. The objective here is for these MS to perform killing blows, so they can activate Chance Step and execute an additional action, preferably another fatal blow to trigger Chance Step again. For main story quests, most of the game’s missions can be cleared if your Carry is around levels 70-80, with other characters being about level 60. However, you may effortlessly reach level 100 before completion if you focus on accumulating EXP CDs intensively.

In simpler terms, Setsuna gains access to the EX Character Ability at level 45, adding a Chance Step to his abilities, and also unlocks his third Character Skill, Attack Burst LV4, when he reaches level 60. However, it’s important to note that level 45 is significant, not necessarily level 60.

To ensure safer missions and expedite clear times, prioritize leveling your Pilot EXP primarily towards getting Setsuna/Char to level 45. At this level, they will unlock their Pilot Skill, providing them with an additional Chance Step, enabling them to take up to three complete actions in a single turn.

Optional – GQuuuuuuX (Omega Psycommu)

If you’re not keen on prioritizing the immediate upgrade of 00 Exia/Sazabi to its maximum level using all surplus resources, while maintaining a minimum standard, consider instead channeling resources into GQuuuuuuX (Omega Psycommu), which you receive at the start, and the Limit Breaks from Panel Missions. This strategy is advisable only if your current Exia/Sazabi is already overwhelming lower-level opponents with ease.

GQuuuuuuX certainly has some challenges, primarily due to its limited skill set with a two-range capability which leaves it susceptible to opponent counterattacks. However, this drawback can be mitigated by focusing on stat checks, ensuring that every shot is lethal, except in cases where the target possesses a Support Defense. With this strategy, GQuuuuuuX can maintain its 17% Weapon Power Boost and keep up the pressure.

The main reason for choosing GQuuuuuuX is the free LBs from Panel Missions, as well as Amate’s advantage of having Chance Step +1 without requiring level 45, unlike Setsuna and Char. This means that you can begin chaining Triple Kills with Amate without investing heavily into her own development.

For “Mobile Suit Gundam” Series Teams, GQuuuuuuX also qualifies as being from MSG.

As a gamer, I wouldn’t suggest rushing to use the GQuuuuuuX right away because it’s uncertain if it will be useful for future content. Instead, Exia and Sazabi seem more reliable for the long run. While a second carry isn’t essential for this strategy, it can speed up farming stages when set on auto. Plus, if you’re using Sazabi instead of Exia, GQuuuuuuX could be useful on AIR maps.

Defender Stacking your Carry

When your Carry starts dealing enough damage to instantly kill grunts, you might notice it’s HP dwindling due to the constant barrage of attacks it endures in retaliation. To address this HP depletion, if that’s your main concern, consider utilizing a Supporter Ship equipped with Healing Skills, or field multiple Defender Type MS alongside your primary Carry. If you aren’t using AUTO battle, their role would be to remain near the Carry, providing Support Defense and potentially using Pilot Skills to restore their own HP or boost Damage Resist, essentially acting as extra health bars for your Carry. Alternatively, you could build multiple Carries similar to a setup like GQuuuuuuX.

Other Tips for Fast Progression

Rushing Panel Missions

Rushing through the Panel Missions offers a couple of benefits. Primarily, it allows you to acquire more copies of GQuuuuuuX, which is useful if you intend to utilize this item. Additionally, certain advanced quests will not automatically complete unless you have completed earlier stages. For instance, quests like “Use X AP” and “Complete X Character Requests” require that you finish previous pages. By clearing out pages whenever possible, you can make progress on these quests. Furthermore, you’ll likely need to increase GQuuuuuuX’s levels for some Panel Quests, so having it on hand will be beneficial in the long run.

In this game, completing the Panel Missions rewards you with two versatile SR Support Ships labeled as “U.C. Series” and “Alternative Series.” These ships are expected to become your primary choices for your Series Squad in the main storyline. Furthermore, you’ll obtain a total of 2 SSR Mobile Suit (MS) Tickets, one UR MS Ticket, and one UR Support Ship Ticket. To sweeten the deal, you’ll also receive 2 SSR Limit Break materials.

Daily Upgrade Material Quests

The aim here is to complete a 3-star Clear of all Upgrade Material Quests at Level 5 as quickly as possible. On Day 1, I managed to clear up to Level 4 using a mixed team that ranges from mid-30s to low-40s. Each battle may require slightly different positioning, but they all share the same underlying mechanic.

Since the Great Haro can’t retaliate when your MS strikes from a distance of one unit, it’s best to engage in melee combat instead.

Small Haros can defend against attacks at a distance of one unit, but they have a limited reach themselves and can be attacked without retaliation if they are struck from a distance of five units.

Make sure to complete three quests every day, even if they have a lower difficulty level. Doing so will help you avoid missing out on free resources as these quests don’t require AP (Action Points) like the playtest does.

Zeta Gundam and Hyaku Shiki

If you’re making your way through the series or haven’t finished ZZ, it’s worth noting that Zeta and Hyaku Shiki are useful additions to your team. These characters can be obtained during Z Development, but they’re also relevant for ZZ. This means you can utilize them in both your main series and especially for Eternal Road, making them valuable assets in your collection.

Clearing Secret Battles on HARD Stages

Despite not achieving a flawless 4-star clear on challenging levels, you might still find it worthwhile to finish the Secret Battles on those tough stages because they offer a complimentary Development SSR MS as a reward. This extra unit could provide valuable choices when navigating the Eternal Road.
