2024, on August 24th at the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo, the previous American Idol champion paused his performance when he witnessed a man, who was later accused, physically attacking a woman in the crowd.
In the video, McCreery can be heard saying, “That’s a woman you’ve just bumped into, sir,” before gesturing towards someone in the audience. He continued, “You certainly didn’t mean to harm her, but you did. Police? Security? Is she alright? Please leave immediately,” he exclaimed, with the crowd applauding his brave actions.
