Director Gareth Edwards shared with Empire magazine for their latest Jurassic World Rebirth summer issue that it truly seems like they’re inviting people to fully appreciate the original film. He explained that it maintains the sense of wonder and awe, but isn’t shy about reintroducing the excitement and fear as well.
In this role, Johansson portrays Zora Bennett, a highly proficient undercover agent, assigned to direct an elite squad for a clandestine operation aimed at acquiring vital genetic material in strict secrecy.
Johansson concurs, stating that it’s reminiscent of the original in a natural way. He appreciates its abundance of effective scares and notes that the tension is palpable due to the high stakes involved.
In a simpler and more conversational style: Jonathan Bailey portrays Dr. Henry Loomis, a paleontologist who has been assigned an perilous expedition to snatch DNA samples from terrifying dinosaurs inhabiting an isolated island that was long thought to be lost in time.

He explained that the original concept revolved around immersing us in the dinosaurs’ world. Previous films delved into what it might be like if they invaded ours, and they did an outstanding job with that.
