
Scarlett Johansson is reportedly in talks to join the cast of the upcoming Batman sequel. Sources say she’s nearing an agreement to appear in the next installment, following the 2021 film directed by Matt Reeves.
This project has been in the works for a while, and adding Johansson will really help it move forward as filming is scheduled to begin next year. She’s currently finishing up work on ‘The Exorcist’ before starting on this new film.
People familiar with the talks say Johansson is being considered for the role of Andrea Beaumont.

Many Batman fans first encountered this character in animated series and films, where it was revealed she had a history with Bruce Wayne. She continued to appear in animated stories before becoming a regular character in the main DC comics a few years ago.
Scarlett Johansson is a highly successful actor known for her work in blockbuster franchises. Playing Black Widow significantly boosted her popularity, and she’s consistently starred in hit films like the recent Jurassic World: Rebirth. The next Batman movie, currently scheduled for release in October 2027, will see the return of director Matt Reeves and star Robert Pattinson.
