Saudis Backing Trump’s Rush Hour 4 — Just Like The SnyderVerse

So, I’ve been hearing from people in the know that Saudi Arabia is really throwing its weight behind a potential return for Zack Snyder’s vision – the ‘SnyderVerse,’ as fans call it. Apparently, they’re aiming for something huge, a cinematic event that can go head-to-head with the massive success of Marvel’s universe. It’s pretty wild to think about!

My insiders have also said the Saudis are backing the purchase of Warner Bros. Discovery.

According to a report from Puck News, Saudi Arabia is providing financial support for both Paramount and a fourth Rush Hour movie. Apparently, the fourth Rush Hour film was approved at the request of former President Trump, who is also supporting Paramount’s attempt to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery.

Interestingly, Donald Trump reportedly helped bring Brett Ratner back to direct a fourth Rush Hour film. Ratner’s production company also provided funding for the DC Extended Universe (SnyderVerse).

Saudis backing Rush Hour 4

Via Puck News:

According to a source familiar with the project, the film, which has a $100 million budget, will receive funding from Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is also supporting the Ellisons’ attempt to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery.

The site adds the Saudi financing is coming from producer Tarak Ben Ammar:

When Melania Trump revealed her new film production company, Muse Films, I wondered if she might be involved in Brett Ratner’s planned Rush Hour 4 movie. I reached out to Brett to ask, mentioning rumors about the film’s large budget and funding from Saudi sources arranged by producer Tarak Ben Ammar. He responded by saying Muse Films has no involvement in the project, calling the idea that they were producing it “ridiculous.” He added that Tarak is the producer and financier, and he himself doesn’t know the specifics of their discussions, but confirmed the budget is over $100 million. He finished by wishing me Happy Holidays.

Why the Saudis?

Okay, so a lot of people were wondering why Saudi Arabia would get behind Zack Snyder, but it turns out they already are! They’re backing his new UFC movie, Brawler. Apparently, they’re big fans of Snyder over there – they really love his work.

And there’s more to the story: the main reason Saudi Arabia spent $55 billion on Electronic Arts is reportedly because Prince Mohammed enjoys playing video games.

So if they really like Zack Snyder and the SnyderVerse, yep, it’s coming back.

Puck News also confirmed what I first told you, that James Gunn’s DC future is in doubt.
