In her conversation with the publication, Rafferty revealed that many didn’t anticipate Donna and Harvey to end up together at the series finale.
Previously, Rafferty remembered a chat with Macht prior to season 9 in which he proposed an idea about the writers possibly uniting their characters, yet she felt it was unlikely to materialize.
The actress joked, “It turns out I was wrong about the outcome of the bet. I didn’t expect it to transpire this way.” She explained that her unique take on the character Donna and her deliberate performance significantly influenced her perspective.
