Sarah Jessica Parker Was ‘Out of Her Mind’ Fixing a Sex and the City Outfit She Didn’t Like; ‘She Cut It Up…’

As a devoted admirer recalling my days as Carrie in Sex and the City, I must confess that I harbored some lingering reservations about donning a specific ensemble during one of our most memorable scenes – Charlotte’s wedding. Although the dress was a masterpiece by Vera Wang, the color beige was not exactly my cup of tea.

In the most recent installment of the Are You a Charlotte? podcast, Davis shared an intriguing tidbit: her ex-castmate is reportedly still simmering with anger over the choice I made in wardrobe for that particular scene. In the course of the podcast discussion, Davis shared an anecdote from a chat with Parker during the filming of the Sex and the City sequel series, And Just Like That. She disclosed that Parker found criticism about her character particularly distressing. As she scrolled through negative Carrie comments on social media, the actress grew worried.
