‘Sakamoto Days’ Releases Episode 4 Preview, Reveals Two New Cast Members

The live-action version of Yuuto Suzuki’s “Sakamoto Days” is gaining momentum, as new tidbits have been unveiled for its forthcoming fourth installment. Two additional actors have been announced: Yasuhiro Mamiya will portray “Boiled,” and Yumi Uchiyama will lend her voice to “Obiguro.” Fans are now even more excited after watching a preview video (available below).

The series premiered across TV Tokyo and various other networks on January 11th, simultaneously becoming available on Netflix. Netflix announced that ‘Part 1’ consists of eleven episodes to be aired weekly, while ‘Part 2’ is planned for release in July.

This anime boasts a talented crew at its helm. Notably, Masaki Watanabe, renowned for creating “KADO – The Right Answer” and “Bartender”, takes on directing duties at TMS Entertainment. Meanwhile, Taku Kishimoto, who has contributed to both “Haikyu!! and “BLUELOCK”, is responsible for the scriptwriting. Lastly, Yō Moriyama, best known for his character designs in “Lupin the IIIrd: Goemon’s Blood Spray”, handles the character design.
