20. Sailor Luna
In my feline perspective, I’m Luna – a chatty, sleek black cat who offers guidance and tutelage to the fearless Sailor Moon and the band of Sailor Guardians. With a sprinkle of magic from the Silver Crystal, I can transform into a human-like form as Sailor Luna. However, people often find me unpredictable and somewhat frail compared to my comrades, due to my constant struggle to hold onto my human shape and my feline quirks – like a deep-seated fear of dogs and the allure of catnip trinkets, even in my transformed state. My weapon of choice? A grand folding fan that, while not dealing massive blows, serves its purpose when needed.
19. Sailor Quartet

The Amazoness Quartet, sometimes referred to as the Sailor Quartet, is made up of Sailor Ceres, Sailor Vesta, Sailor Juno, and Sailor Pallas – all named after asteroids in our solar system. Their primary duty involves protecting Sailor Chibi Moon, and eventually joining forces against Sailor Galaxia. Although they demonstrate a formidable group strength, they are often deemed one of the less powerful Sailor Scouts. Their combat techniques primarily revolve around circus-like abilities, such as summoning plants and lemurs, manipulating dolls, and even stealing dreams.
18. Sailor Kakyuu

Princess Kakyuu, more commonly known as Sailor Kakyuu, is a royal figure hailing from the destroyed planet Kinmoku who found sanctuary on Earth. She’s recognized by her distinctive traits such as a sparkling star tiara and a flowing skirt made of vibrant orange-red petals. Although she has limited strength in combat compared to others, she often finds it challenging to keep pace when joining forces with Sailor Moon, Little Lady Moon, and Asteroid Senshi. Tragically, her life is cut short by the minions of Sailor Galaxia, Sailor Chi and Phi.
17. Sailor Star Healer

The character named Sailor Star Healer came to Earth alongside the other Sailor Starlights following the devastation of their home planet by Sailor Galaxia. In her everyday life, he is a male student at Juban High School and part of the Three Lights group. With the gift of healing and heightened spiritual sensitivity, she can detect when Star Seeds are taken by Galaxia or her followers. Her formidable move, Star Sensitive Inferno, discharges a bolt of lightning to injure adversaries, although she seldom unleashes its full potential. Furthermore, as a Sailor Starlight, she possesses the abilities to teleport and sprout wings, giving her an edge over other Sailors.
16. Sailor Star Maker

As the masked male student Kou Taiki at Juban High School, Star Maker (one of the three Starlights) demonstrates exceptional intellect, consistently scoring top marks even surpassing Sailor Mercury, Ami Mizuno. Her attack, Star Gentle Uterus, releases a barrage of light balls which can be deadly but she typically uses it in less harmful ways. Just like her fellow Starlights, she has the powers of teleportation and wing growth.
15. Sailor Chi and Sailor Phi

Sailor Chi and Sailor Phi function as trustworthy lieutenants to Sailor Galaxia, often referred to as the Star Gardeners. Their role primarily involves safeguarding star seeds within the Star Garden. As couriers, they oversee other staff members and carry staffs emblazoned with sun symbols for both fighting and gathering star seeds. They are powerful opponents who have been instrumental in the deaths of Sailor Kakyuu, all three Sailor Starlights, as well as Sailors Lethe and Mnemosyne.
14. Sailor Chibi Moon

Chibi Moon, or Chibiusa, is actually Princess of the Silver Millennium and daughter of King Endymion and Neo Queen Serenity. At first, she seems to grow slowly and have magical powers, but it’s later revealed that she has great potential. She transforms into strong forms like Black Lady and can turn into Super Sailor Chibi Moon and Eternal Sailor Chibi Moon. In a significant event, she manages to use Pink Sugar Heart Attack to control Mistress 9, which is quite challenging even for the other five Sailor Guardians.
13. Sailor Mars

Rei Hino, more commonly known as Sailor Mars, is the second member of the Sailor Guardians unveiled by Usagi. She specializes in fire-based powers, even though her strength may be slightly lower than others in the group. Her fiery attacks, like Akuryo Taisan and Burning Mandala, can stun foes; however, they usually need aid from other Sailor Guardians to inflict substantial damage. Additionally, Sailor Mars has psychic abilities, including sensing fires and expelling malevolent spirits, adding a unique element to the team’s collective powerset.
12. Sailor Mercury

In everyday language, Ami Mizuno, also known as Sailor Mercury, is one of the original Inner Sailor Guardians, recognized for her intelligence and technological prowess. Often referred to as the “brains” of the group, she employs advanced computers to collect data during fights and has the ability to manipulate ice and water. Her attacks like Shine Aqua Illusion can freeze opponents, create protective shields, or be used as a weapon. Furthermore, Sailor Mercury uses non-magical tools such as a micro supercomputer, the Sailor Star Tambo, and the Mercury Harp to boost her analytical skills and combat effectiveness.
11. Sailor Jupiter

In simpler terms, Makoto Kino, better known as Sailor Jupiter, stands out among the Inner Senshi due to her immense physical power and proficiency in martial arts. Her abilities primarily revolve around electricity and earth, with moves like Supreme Thunder that summon mighty lightning bolts. Although she may not possess the subtle magic skills of others, Sailor Jupiter more than makes up for it with superhuman strength, earning her the nickname of the “muscle” within their group, and making her a strong, independent force capable of taking on enemies effectively on her own.
10. Sailor Venus

Minako Aino, more famously known as Sailor Venus, leads the Inner Guardians, who protect Princess Serenity. At first, she presented herself as Sailor V, but later accepted her role fully as Sailor Venus. Known for her kindness and tactical skills, she uses powers linked to love and light, influencing feelings during battles and taking adversaries off guard. Her weapons include the Venus Love-Me Chain and Venus Love and Beauty Shock, demonstrating wisdom and intellectual strength as the group’s planner.
9. Sailor Neptune

Michiru Kaiou, also known as Sailor Neptune, is a graceful and stunning young woman who adores music and swimming. With sea-related abilities and psychic powers, she uses the Deep Aqua Mirror and the Marine Cathedrale violin. As a guardian of the Moon palace, living on the most distant planet from the moon, she stands as the initial defense for the Moon Kingdom. Her attacks include Deep Submerge and Submarine Violon Tide, demonstrating her powerful capabilities.
8. Sailor Uranus

Haruka Tenou, also known as Sailor Uranus, is a strong-willed and self-assured character from the Outer Senshi group. She’s often portrayed as an anti-hero and romantic partner of Sailor Neptune. Equipped with the Space Sword, one of the potent Talismans, she demonstrates ground-oriented abilities and is proficient in martial arts. Her unwavering resolve to eradicate evil sometimes necessitates difficult decisions. Her forceful attacks, like World Shaking and Space Turbulence, testify to her battle prowess against adversaries, showcasing her considerable strength.
7. Sailor Chibi Chibi

Sailor Chibi Chibi, the Star Seed from Sailor Galaxia, boasts immense powerful abilities that are crucial to the Senshis. Functioning as a beacon of hope and intensifier, she boosts the powers of her comrades, converting into weapons during conflicts against formidable opponents such as Galaxia. Although she appears to be a toddler, the limits of her growth potential and the full extent of her powers are yet unknown, making her a significant factor in any battle scenario as she evolves further.
6. Sailor Pluto

In a different phrasing: Setsuna Meiou, or Sailor Pluto, is recognized for her roles as Time and Space’s Protector. As the eldest and most seasoned among the Senshis, she enforces stringent regulations to maintain the security of the Spacetime Gateway, employing powers over time, space, and shadow. Her impressive skills include halting time and manipulating the access to the Spacetime Gateway, but her attacks depend on the Garnet Rod, which leaves a potential weakness. Despite being bound by her guardian duties to keep a low profile, she displays her power in combat, even confronting Sailor Moon to halt any misuse of the Spacetime Gateway.
5. Sailor Saturn

Hotaru Tomoe, more famously known as Sailor Saturn, represents the Senshi of death and renewal, with powers focused on destruction, demise, regeneration, and decay. Often revered as a deity of devastation, she carries the capacity to obliterate entire worlds and reboot an entire galaxy’s development. However, this immense power comes at great personal cost – her life must be sacrificed, leading to her rebirth as an infant.
Some of her abilities include creating protective barriers, launching energy blasts, and performing minor healing on wounds. These talents make her a force to be reckoned with, prompting villains like Pharaoh 90 and Mistress 9 to attempt controlling her.
To prevent the misuse of her overwhelming power, she is kept in stasis. She is only awakened when extreme situations call for the complete eradication necessary for a fresh beginning.
4. Sailor Galaxia

In the fifth tale of this cosmic saga, I found myself captivated by the enigmatic Sailor Galaxia – a once noble alien Senshi who was corrupted by the malevolent forces of Chaos. She transformed into the tyrannical Golden Queen of Shadow Galactica and the Protector of Loneliness, standing as the polar opposite to the radiant Sailor Moon.
Driven by an insatiable hunger for power, Galaxia wrought havoc across countless worlds, plundering star seeds to bolster her already formidable might. This newfound strength enabled her to indiscriminately annihilate planets and resurrect fallen Senshis as her pawns or puppets.
Throughout the series, Galaxia systematically eliminated all but three of the Sailor Senshi – Sailor Moon, Sailor Chibi Chibi Moon, and the Sailor Starlights, leaving them to face the brunt of her wrath in their desperate bid for survival.
3. Neo Queen Serenity

In the 30th century, Princess Serenity of the Moon and Earth is the future incarnation of Sailor Moon. She’s married to King Endymion and is a mother to Chibiusa. She’s revered for her role in ridding the world of malevolence and sickness, earning her the title of the Peace Messiah among some Senshis. Although her role in the anime is not extensive, it’s implied that Princess Serenity has all of Sailor Moon’s abilities, including regeneration, summoning of weapons and items, and proficiency with the Millennium Crystal.
2. Sailor Moon

In a nutshell, Usagi Tsukino, more famously known as Sailor Moon, might not boast the highest level of physical prowess, but she holds an extraordinary power – the Silver Crystal – which embodies love’s might, capable of healing and restoration. With attacks like supersonic waves, a magical smooch, and the Moon Tiara Boomerang, her strength shines brightly. Her courage and resilience, fueled by faith in redemption, set her apart as an exceptional character with immense growth potential, metamorphosing into various powerful forms throughout the narrative.
1. Sailor Cosmos

Sailor Cosmos is a highly advanced version of Sailor Moon, shrouded in mystery and might. She combines the powers of all Senshis, making her the strongest of them all. With the immense power of the Cosmos Crystal’s Ultimate Lambda, she can cleanse the Galaxy Cauldron and predict future events, giving her a significant advantage across the cosmos. Sailor Cosmos demonstrates various abilities, such as altering memories, time travel, creating protective barriers like Silence Wall, sensing and casting magic from great distances, and being virtually indestructible, making her an unstoppable force in the Sailor Moon universe.
