It seems that she relied on them to truly embody the character.

She added that although she had discussed this aspect during her younger years, she seldom referred to it later on. Now returning to it, she acknowledged leaning on her friends who are involved in the music industry for support and encouragement, helping her become more comfortable in that particular sphere.

In the upcoming project called O’Dessa, Sadie’s character sets out on an adventure as a farm girl seeking a treasured family keepsake. Along her journey, she encounters a mysterious and perilous city where she crosses paths with her soulmate. However, the course of events doesn’t remain predictable, and she quickly finds herself in a challenging predicament. According to IMDb, “to redeem his spirit, she must challenge fate to its utmost limit.”
Under the guidance of director Geremy Jasper, “O’Dessa” features an impressive cast that includes Sadie Sink along with Kelly Macdonald, Mark Boone Junior, Regina Hall, Murray Bartlett, and Kelvin Harrison Jr. The film boasts original music scored and produced by both Geremy Jasper and Jason Binnick. As of now, the release date for “O’Dessa” is set for 2024, though an exact date has yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, Sadie Sink has been recently recognized in the movie The Whale, earning a nomination for best young performer at the Critics’ Choice Movie Award.
