Sadie Sink Dazzles For Vogue in a Sultry Photoshoot

Sadie Sink and Noah Jupe are at an exciting point in their careers, and things are already feeling significant. They recently came together for a photoshoot with British Vogue in London, which had a comfortable, casual atmosphere – almost like catching up with old friends. The two actors are soon to star together in a new stage adaptation of Romeo and Juliet in London’s West End, and their enthusiasm for the project was immediately apparent.

In a recent interview with British Vogue, Sadie Sink discussed how much this role means to her. After spending years acting on screen, she feels right at home on stage. She described meeting director Robert Icke for the first time as a turning point, saying it felt like a creative awakening. Their four-hour conversation completely reshaped her understanding of the character Juliet. Sink, who always considered herself a Broadway enthusiast, shared that performing in London’s West End has been a dream come true.

I’m really excited about Jupe taking on this role! It’s his first time on stage, which is a big deal considering he’s made a name for himself in film and TV, usually playing these really powerful, intense characters. Stage work is a whole different beast, though – it’s all happening live, no second chances! He actually told British Vogue he couldn’t say no to this project. He put it perfectly: working with Romeo, Rob, and Sadie is just an opportunity you don’t pass up, and he said it with a huge smile!

Their working relationship is new, and Sink recalled how quickly things moved. “We did a chemistry test, which only lasted about an hour,” she said with a laugh, remembering how soon they started working together. Jupe added that their next meeting was already a professional photoshoot. They essentially had to portray a heartbreaking romance before they’d even gotten to know each other.

This production of Romeo and Juliet is strikingly modern and isn’t afraid to be direct. According to British Vogue, director Robert Icke’s version features a ticking digital clock and uses a technique similar to the movie ‘Sliding Doors’ to show what might have happened if Romeo and Juliet’s choices had been different. It’s a far cry from a gentle, traditional interpretation.

Both Sadie Sink and Glenn Powell are currently navigating significant shifts in their careers. Sink is rumored to be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a potential role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. She’s also taking on a dual role as star and executive producer for the movie adaptation of John Proctor Is the Villain, a play she previously performed on stage. In addition to these projects, she’ll appear in the rock opera O’Dessa and the thriller Cold Storage.

Jupe has been incredibly busy lately. He recently played Hamlet in the film Hamnet, alongside Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley. He’s also appearing in The Death of Robin Hood with Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer, and was featured in the second season of The Night Manager.

The play is scheduled to run for twelve weeks at London’s Harold Pinter Theatre, from March 16th to June 6th, 2026. Because it’s a limited engagement, there’s a lot riding on it. This isn’t just work for either of the actors involved – it feels like a potentially career-changing opportunity.
