Disney and ABC have released a first look at the new Muppet Show special coming to Disney+ and ABC on February 4, 2026. Fans got a sneak peek during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, featuring Kermit, Piggy, and all their friends.
The network promoted the special with the phrase “New year, same diva,” hinting that the Muppets’ familiar fun will be back, but with some new and exciting elements. Singer Sabrina Carpenter will guest star, bringing a contemporary feel to the classic show.
The first trailer is out for the revival of ‘The Muppet Show,’ featuring Sabrina Carpenter as a special guest. The show will premiere on Disney+ and ABC on February 4th.

Kermit and Miss Piggy made a quick appearance during the New Year’s broadcast to say hello and mention their upcoming show. The first official trailer then played, but a clear version isn’t available online yet. Right now, most of the clips people are sharing were filmed by viewers on their phones.
