As a dedicated follower and avid fan of Sabrina Carpenter‘s career, it is truly heartwarming to see her bond with Taylor Swift flourish over the years. Their friendship is a shining example of genuine camaraderie, and it’s clear that they share a deep connection beyond the professional sphere. It’s refreshing to see that even in the face of media speculation, Sabrina maintains her composure and grace, as she rightly calls Taylor one of her best friends.
Sabrina Carpenter has had a strong connection with Taylor Swift throughout the years, but Swift doesn’t share the same closeness with Kim Kardashian. In an interview with Variety, the singer made it clear that while personal matters are not involved, she wouldn’t need Swift’s approval to collaborate with Kardashian for her fashion brand endorsements.
During the interview, the singer known for Espresso songs expressed that Taylor Swift has handled all difficulties with elegance. Furthermore, he disclosed that she considers the Midnights artist to be her closest friend. In a conversation with the media outlet, Carpenter stated, “The rumors about me needing her approval — false. She is one of my dearest friends, and we often dine together or text regularly, just like you would with your best friend.”
The performer remarked, “She’s incredibly bold and poised in every situation. Regardless of the criticism, everything she undertakes, she handles with elegance.”
During Sydney’s Eras tour concert, Swift invited Carpenter to share the stage. Originally slated as the opening act, Carpenter ended up singing parts of White Horse and Coney Island alongside Swift instead. Furthermore, Carpenter made a cameo in an advertisement for Skims, promoting a line of underwear and shapewear that Swift endorsed. Prior to this, Carpenter had informed Swift about her endorsement deals with the Kardashians.
In essence, Taylor Swift and the television personality have had a long-standing disagreement ever since Kim Kardashian, the Kardashian sister, tied the knot with rapper Kanye West. It appears that Swift was not in agreement with the former pair on various matters.
In an interview with the Rolling Stones, Carpenter expressed to them that despite the misconception people may have about her being always in tune with every detail, she isn’t because she’s constantly working. However, she has been incredibly open with Swift regarding her situation and feels a deep affection for her, promising unwavering support until the end.
She went on to explain, “It wasn’t odd for me, but I understand others might just comment because they’re short on time.” Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter dominated the charts with the debut of Please, Please, Please. Coming up next on her music agenda is the release of Short n’Sweet, scheduled for August 23.
