Sabretooth Takes a Trip Back in Time in New Comic Series Featuring Iron Fist Connection

As an avid gamer with over two decades worth of comic book adventures under my belt, I can confidently say that Sabretooth: The Dead Don’t Talk is shaping up to be a riveting addition to Marvel’s already impressive roster.

In the forthcoming ‘Sabretooth: The Silent Past’, Marvel delves into the questionable history of one of Wolverine’s toughest opponents, Sabretooth, whom many thought had met his end permanently.

Following what seemed like his death at the claws of Wolverine during ‘Sabretooth War’, the plot unexpectedly veers off, diving headfirst into the early 1900s era.

In this five-part narrative, Sabretooth is immersed in the infamous criminal underworld of 1900s New York, offering readers an unprecedented look at this antagonist during an entirely different time period.

This series doesn’t just delve back into Sabretooth’s past adventures, it also unveils a fresh character who shares intriguing ties with the Marvel Universe.

Hailing from the enigmatic city of K’un-Lun, known for its connection to Iron Fist, this individual goes by the name Dragonfire.

A dragon named Firemask, adorned with a fiery mask and armed with a blazing blade, becomes entangled in the street gangs of Five Points, setting the stage for the ensuing events.

In a lively exchange, the creator of this new storyline, Frank Tieri, expressed his enthusiasm for the undertaking to AIPT.

He described the series as a mix of historical intrigue and comic book flair, likening it to ‘Gangs of New York’ but with a mutant twist. The storyline kicks off in a memorable setting, Satan’s Circus, the oldest bar in New York.

In this tavern, Wolverine is grieving the loss of Sabretooth, while also stumbling upon intriguing images that suggest Sabretooth had a mysterious past as a gangster known as ‘Mad Dog’ Murphy.

For the third issue of ‘Sabretooth: The Dead Don’t Talk’, artist Michael Sta. has created unique, distinctive character designs and captivating cover artwork.

Maria, this series combines intriguing historical aspects with the exciting action of beloved superheroes, specifically focusing on Wolverine’s adventure. Alongside him, we delve into the mysterious, brutal history of one of his most formidable adversaries.
