Ryan Reynolds Jokes His Daughter Inez Is The ‘Only Co-Star’ He Argued With On Deadpool & Wolverine Set

As a long-time fan of both Ryan Reynolds and the Marvel universe, I must say that his latest antics with his children in “Deadpool & Wolverine” have only solidified my admiration for him as an actor and a father. It’s not every day you see a dad who can seamlessly blend humor, family bonding, and superhero action into one incredible movie experience.

As a devoted follower, it appears that Ryan Reynolds has decided to shift the focus of his witty social media banter from his wife Blake Lively, to our beloved 7-year-old girl, Inez, on this occasion. The Deadpool and Wolverine star recently took aim at Inez with a playful jab.

On Thursday, August 1, the dad of four playfully shared on Instagram that his second oldest child appearing as a character named Kidpool in his latest film meant she was the only co-star he had arguments with. “Many think Kidpool is the dirtiest, but she’s also great at sass and never emptying the trash bin,” read Reynolds’ post, accompanied by a picture of him and his daughter in matching Deadpool costumes.

Apart from Inez, Ryan’s other three children, including James (aged 9), James on IMDb as Screaming Mutant Olin, and Betty, only 4 years old according to the movie credits, were involved in their father’s film. Betty was credited as High Jackman Wrangler behind the scenes, although specifics about her role are not widely known. However, Ryan mentioned that his youngest daughter, Betty, is a huge fan of Hugh Jackman, often expressing her affection through imagined acts of violence towards him, thinking she has claws and he possesses a healing factor. This was shared by Ryan in late July with People magazine, prior to the release of his much-anticipated film.

As an ardent admirer of Blake Lively, I can’t help but share my excitement when I learned that she took the stage as Ladypool! This role, a brainchild of Deadpool comic book creator Rob Liefeld back in 2010 after witnessing her captivating performance on Gossip Girl, has truly proven to be a perfect fit for Blake. The theater was left spellbound by her performance!

Fans had been fairly confident that Lively would be part of the movie since Lady Deadpool’s cameo was revealed. The actress herself fueled speculation about the possibility becoming a reality when she showed up at the world premiere event of the film in New York on Monday, July 22, dressed in an outfit inspired by Deadpool.

In addition to Marvel’s lineup, you can spot Chris Evans, Henry Cavill, Channing Tatum, and others making an appearance. Meanwhile, catch Deadpool & Wolverine on the big screen as they are currently running in theaters!
