Speculation is rampant that Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool will team up with the Avengers in future Marvel movies, fueled by a recent social media hint.
But the latest reports paint a murkier picture. Marvel Studios also hasn’t confirmed anything.

Deadline vs. THR: Conflicting Reports
As reported by Deadline, it appears that Ryan Reynolds has not made an appearance on the set of “Avengers: Doomsday,” which is being filmed in London at the moment. Furthermore, they mention that Reynolds is not expected to be featured in any of the subsequent two Avengers films coming up.
It appears that sources report Reynolds hasn’t been spotted on the set in London for the upcoming Avengers movie, and it seems he won’t be featuring in the next two movies either.
However, contrary to this, The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision asserts that Deadpool may appear in Avengers: Doomsday. Yet, it’s important to note that while Deadpool could make an appearance, he is not expected to permanently join the ranks of the Avengers.
According to reports from Heat Vision, it’s confirmed that Deadpool will show up in Avengers: Doomsday. However, it’s important to note that he won’t necessarily be joining the Avengers as a team member.
The fact that Deadline and THR, which are both owned by the same company, have different perspectives about their inside information, is certainly worth questioning.

The Tease That Started It
As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t help but feel a thrill when Reynolds shared that intriguing mashup of the Avengers “A” logo and the anarchist symbol on his feed! The buzz among fellow fans was palpable as we speculated if this could mean Deadpool might be joining Marvel’s most iconic team.
After achieving a billion-dollar box office success with both Deadpool and Wolverine, Deadpool has become Marvel’s most financially viable character for quite some time.

Reynolds’ Own Words
Interestingly, Reynolds has previously said he doesn’t want Deadpool to become an Avenger:
As a die-hard movie fan, I’d say, “If Deadpool ever joins the Avengers or X-Men, it feels like the grand finale! It’s his ultimate dream come true, something we fans have been eagerly waiting for, but holding off on seems to be the way it is for now.
It implies that, should Wade Wilson make an appearance in Avengers: Doomsday, his part is likely to be brief and secondary rather than a major collaboration, aligning with the information provided by THR earlier.

What It Means for the MCU
- If Deadline is right, Deadpool could sit out Marvel’s two-part Phase 6 finale, despite fan hype.
- If THR is right, expect him to pop up in Doomsday without actually becoming part of the Avengers lineup.
- Reynolds is also said to be developing a new MCU project for Deadpool, with fans speculating Uncanny X-Force
Doomsday” and “Secret Wars.” It’s rumored that Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans will reappear as well.
