Ryan Reynolds Celebrates Deadpool & Wolverine Home Release With Deleted Footage; See Here

As a devoted Marvel fan who’s seen more movies than I can count (and that’s saying something), I must admit that Deadpool & Wolverine has been a rollercoaster of emotions, and their latest home release on Disney+ just added another twist to the tale! The deleted scene featuring multiple Deadpools attacking our hero was a wild ride, to say the least.

It appears there are still many surprises left to uncover by Deadpool and Wolverine. Most recently, lead actor Ryan Reynolds posted previously unseen footage in celebration of the movie’s release on Disney+ for home viewing.

On both his Instagram Stories and what used to be Twitter, Reynolds shared a video featuring various Deadpool characters encircling him. In this clip, he discusses his film character’s best friend, Peter, who is portrayed by Rob Delaney.

It seems that the series we’re referring to features Deadpool and Wolverine battling various versions of the Deadpool character from The Void, followed by a climactic scene where these anti-heroes prepare to give up their lives, right before the final sequence unfolds.

In the latest video clip, Deadpool can be heard expressing that his ‘Peter’ made him feel part of something when nobody else did.

Yet, the character’s conversation is abruptly halted by a figure shouting, “Bail out!” It appears that this command was issued by Kid Pool, given the gruff tone of the voice.

In due course, additional versions chime in with even more distressing phrases like “Go away, Return to Canada idiot”, “Leave me alone, Loser” and so forth.

All this happens while Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Delaney’s Peter are in the frame.

In a recent conversation, I shared some behind-the-scenes insights about my brief appearance in Brad Pitt’s action-packed film, Bullet Train. I mentioned that although this particular scene didn’t make it to the final cut of the movie, it holds a special place in my heart. As for today, Deadpool and Wolverine are now available to stream on Disney+!

In July of this year, Deadpool & Wolverine were unveiled. This is the sole Marvel Studios release in 2024 that has introduced mutants to its esteemed and illustrious franchise.

Although the future involvement of Deadpool and Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe remains unclear, it’s been disclosed that the actor from The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard is currently engaged in a collaborative effort with his longtime friend Hugh Jackman and Shawn Levy, who has directed both Deadpool and Wolverine films.

In the coming year, prepare yourself to see the experienced actor take the stage. Back in October, Hugh Jackman announced his plans to perform live for a 12-show residency at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.

The Prisoners star will be acting in the musical play From New York With Love.
