With Sinners now playing in cinemas, director Ryan Coogler is already preparing for his upcoming venture. Initially, it was announced that Coogler was working on a new X-Files television series as far back as 2023.
In a conversation with Anderson, Coogler verifies that they have discussed the reboot. He describes Anderson as “incredible” and hopes that everything goes well. He clarifies that Anderson is wrapping up production on the movie Tron: Ares, the last time they spoke. He continues by saying, “We’re aiming to create something truly exceptional, buddy, and something for die-hard X-Files enthusiasts while potentially attracting new ones.” Keep an eye out for further updates.
