Key Highlights
- The venerable Rumble, that bastion of digital freedom, has extended its embrace to Tether’s stablecoin, a token of steadfast value in the tempestuous sea of cryptocurrency.
- With the addition of USA₮, users now possess the power to send and receive yet another dollar-pegged token, as if the world needed more such tokens.
Rumble Inc., that paragon of technological progress, has woven USA₮, a U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin from Tether, into its non-custodial crypto wallet, a feat as thrilling as watching grass grow.
According to the grand announcement, the wallet, nestled within the video-sharing platform, already cradled USD₮, Tether Gold (XAU₮), and Bitcoin. Now, with USA₮’s arrival, users may send and receive another dollar-pegged token, a spectacle as mesmerizing as a well-timed pun.

Creator Payments Without Traditional Intermediaries
Rumble Wallet, that marvel of modern ingenuity, permits audiences to tip creators in crypto, bypassing the drudgery of conventional payment processors or banks. As the wallet is non-custodial, users retain control of their private keys and funds, a privilege as rare as a well-timed compliment.
Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski, ever the optimist, remarked, “Adding Tether’s USA₮ stablecoin to the Rumble Wallet is a huge win for creators because it lets them get paid in stable digital currency, no matter where they are, without banks or payment companies holding things up.” One might wonder if “holding things up” refers to the banks or the creators.
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, with a flourish of rhetoric, declared, “By bringing USA₮ into Rumble Wallet, we are giving creators access to digital dollars they can actually own, move, and use on-chain, without unnecessary friction or dependency on centralized financial systems.” A noble goal, though one might question whether “unnecessary friction” is the true enemy here.
He added, “This integration is about expanding autonomy, enabling millions of Rumble users to participate in a more direct, resilient financial system better aligned with the open nature of the internet.” A system as open as a locked door, perhaps, but let us not dwell on such trivialities.
