In 1929, the story of Eden unfolds as Dr. Friedrich Ritter (Jude Law) and his wife Dora Strauch (Vanessa Kirby) embark on a quest to find a tranquil haven on Floreana Island, leaving their homeland of Germany behind. However, their longing for solitude is swiftly disturbed when other inhabitants settle there, among them Margret and Heinz Wittmer (Sydney Sweeney and Daniel Brühl) and the enigmatic Baroness Eloise Bosquet de Wagner Wehrhorn (Ana de Armas), who envisions a lavish hotel on the island.
