
After 50 Cent shared a look at his character Balrog, WWE star Roman Reigns has now given fans their first peek at his take on Akuma for the upcoming *Street Fighter* movie from Legendary.
The Akuma Tease
Roman Reigns posted a video on social media showing him walking through a building and finding a *Street Fighter* arcade game. The video then cuts to animated graphics of Reigns smirking with glowing red eyes, referencing the powerful, demonic character Akuma and his signature move, the “Satsui no Hado.”
The preview shows Roman Reigns portraying a menacing version of the popular villain, who originally debuted in the 1994 video game *Super Street Fighter II Turbo*.

Akuma in Street Fighter
Akuma is a legendary character in the Street Fighter series. He’s the younger brother of Gouken, the teacher of Ryu and Ken, and has taken the powerful Ansatsuken martial art to its most brutal and dangerous level, making him a fearsome opponent.
Roman Reigns naturally embodies the role of ‘Tribal Chief’ thanks to his impressive stature, captivating personality, and established WWE character.
