Actress Vanessa Morgan, known for her role in Riverdale, revealed the name of her newly-born daughter, Kaia Autumn Skye, last Wednesday via Instagram. She welcomed her baby girl on July 27th. This is Morgan’s first child with James Karnik. Her social media posts hinted at the birth a few days earlier, on August 1st, in a TikTok video.
Apart from expressing her sentiments, she highlighted how content and thankful she feels due to the countless baby hugs she’s received over the last three weeks following the birth of their little “angel”. She decided to post a series of heartwarming family pictures on Instagram accompanied by the caption: “I’ve been relishing every moment of baby snuggles during these past 3 weeks with our precious angel. I feel incredibly grateful.”
Her message contained some touching images, such as one of her and Karnik holding their daughter’s tiny finger, another of Kaia being cradled affectionately by her sibling River, and a sweet snapshot displaying both Kaia’s and River’s feet with Kaia seated on River’s lap.
Apart from being an actress, Vanessa Morgan is a loving mom to a three-year-old boy named River. In one of the pictures, you can see Karnik holding Kaia while seated beside her mother. The little one looks charming in a polka dot skirt and a lace-edged top with long sleeves.
The Instagram post concludes with a heartwarming photo of a sleeping Kaia nestled against her father’s chest, who is affectionately kissing Morgan. The camera catches River grinning from afar. According to People, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos gave Morgan some precious parenting guidance as she prepared for motherhood with son River, while co-parenting with ex-husband Michael Kopech. She mentioned that Kelly’s advice was specifically aimed at helping her heal more quickly after a C-section. Kaia Autumn Skye, born on July 27, is the first child shared by James Karnik and the Riverdale actress and her partner.
