Alternatively, it might depict the clandestine actions of the English Resistance, a group striving to regain control from American influence and yearning to rejoin the contemporary global scene.

In order to uncover the truth, two men with starkly contrasting backgrounds must join forces. American Special Agent Jesse Holden and British Detective Edwin Fogg have been assigned to crack a case, but their disparate views on justice pose a significant hurdle. They’ll have to set aside their disagreements to traverse the misty streets of London and untangle the mystery that lies before them.
