Ricky Gervais Mentions Kevin Hart, Justin Timberlake, and More As Jokes He Would Make At Golden Globes If He Hosted

Without a shadow of a doubt, Ricky Gervais stands out as one of the funniest comedians in history. His impeccable sense of humor and expressive performances have left countless people in fits of laughter, sometimes even causing them to shed tears from laughing so hard.

Currently, the actor has shared some witty remarks intended for the stage at this year’s Golden Globes. On social media platform X, Dwight Schrute (character from The Office) posted a picture showing him apparently submerged in a bath.

Despite the caption’s suggestion, it sparked curiosity among all, as he mused aloud, “Pondering my speech if I were to host the Golden Globes this coming Sunday. This year has provided an abundance of interesting topics.

In another tweet, Gervais was seen referring to Sean Diddy Combs.

Greetings, and a warm welcome to the 82nd Golden Globe ceremony! What a remarkable year we’ve had. There was an extraordinary number of entertainers eager to visit The Vatican, even meeting The Pope himself. Quite a few were from Hollywood. It seems they weren’t satisfied with being part of the world’s second-largest circle of suspicion. This is how Ricky Gervais put it.

Simultaneously, the comedian playfully teased Kevin Hart, implying that Hart was uneasy at Sean Diddy Combs’ gatherings because Combs, who is now under scrutiny, wouldn’t stop bothering him. Eventually, Hart had to assertively exclaim, “I’m a Midget, not a child.

In a subsequent social media update, Ricky Gervais brought up Justin Timberlake‘s past arrest and playfully connected it with his top-charting song, “SexyBack.

The comedian noted that if Justin Timberlake had served time for driving under the influence, he would have likely heard the phrase “Sexy Back” much more frequently in prison.

Golden Globes Awards was held on January 5, 2025, and was hosted by Nikki Glaser.
