Actor Rick Hoffman, known for his role as Louis Litt on Suits, is gearing up to return on our digital screens. In the forthcoming episodes of the offshoot series, Suits L.A., Hoffman will once again play the character of a mentally unstable yet witty lawyer.
As per reports from Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter, Hoffman is set to feature in a single episode. However, if the series gets renewed for a second season, there’s a possibility that he might return.
In the meantime, the actor’s comeback to the series coincides with Gabriel Macht once again stepping into the famous character of Harvey Specter during the Suits L.A. episodes.
Earlier, during an interview with a media outlet, Aaron Korsh, who produces the shows, mentioned plans to introduce another significant character from the original series.
He mentioned that Harvey isn’t the sole original Suits character returning this season; there will also be at least one more original Suits character appearing. However, he didn’t specify their role or significance in the storyline.
From 2011 to 2020, the TV series “Suits” was broadcast on NBC for nine seasons. The main plot follows Harvey Specter, a character who secretly employs an untrained lawyer, Mike Ross.
In 2023, upon its release on Netflix, the television series “Suits” garnered significant attention from American audiences, accumulating a total view time of approximately 57.7 billion minutes.
Regarding the new spin-off series, it’s important to note that the characters from Suits L.A. are unrelated to those in the original show. However, there’s a mention that the main character, Ted Black (the lead lawyer), had a friendship with Specter from the original series.
Fans of Suits are eagerly waiting to see how the character played by Hoffman will weave into the plot, as it remains unclear at this point. The show first aired on February 23, with fresh episodes airing each Sunday.
