The Lamar family additionally noted they’ll announce details about the Memorial Service shortly. During these tough times, the grieving family expressed gratitude towards the well-wishers and supporters of the late artist for their heartfelt messages and encouragement.
Lamar, famous for tunes such as Type of Way and Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh), is survived by five kids: sons Devin, Royal, Khosen, and Layer, along with daughter Alayna. His partner, Amber Williams, was the one who found him on their living room couch on that specific day.
Based on a 911 call transcript obtained by TMZ, Williams stated that she had left Quan sleeping while taking their son to school. Upon her return, she attempted to wake him but couldn’t detect a pulse. In the emergency call, she added that he was exhibiting signs of foaming at the mouth.
The Fulton County medical examiner affirmed the rapper’s passing, indicating they received word of the death from Grady Memorial Hospital. An autopsy took place on Friday, and we anticipate the findings shortly.
After his father’s death, Quan has been deeply mourned online by his family, with prayers being requested for the family. His father spoke highly of his son’s talent, stating that he didn’t merely create songs, but produced hits. Simultaneously, Williams expressed on a different Instagram post that the grief from losing Quan is overwhelming. She requested understanding and seclusion for herself and her kin, disclosing that her heart is shattered, and she will never return to her former self.
