They explained that truly successful Star Wars films, starting with The Empire Strikes Back, weren’t afraid to be bold and even upset fans. This willingness to shake things up initially sparked debate and anger, but ultimately led to many fans embracing the new direction. Avoiding risk, they argue, is the real mistake.
