Recently released video from the set of Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil reboot gives fans their first glimpse of the movie’s scary action.
A TikTok video captured a wild scene in Prague: a character running from a horde of zombies (or people acting like they’re infected) through a snowy street. A second video shows the aftermath, with blood visible on the pavement.
Zombies on the Attack
I’ve been following the production, and the latest footage is incredible! It looks like they’ve really turned Prague into Raccoon City with all the fake snow and gritty streets. In this new clip, you can see a group of actors playing zombies rushing towards someone running away, and then another character opens fire on them. It’s so intense and really captures the feel of the game!
The TikTok user set the video to music, but viewers immediately commented on how intense and fast-paced the clip was. This suggests that Cregger’s take on the story might combine the suspenseful atmosphere of classic Resident Evil games with more high-energy action.

According to previous reports and interviews, Cregger’s movie takes place in the same universe as the Resident Evil games, specifically around the time of Resident Evil 2. The director aims to stay true to the established story while also telling a new, original story with fresh characters.

Filming for Craig McGregor’s Resident Evil movie is currently underway in Prague, and it’s scheduled to be released in theaters on September 18, 2026. We can expect to see more behind-the-scenes looks and official photos as filming continues throughout the winter months.
