After being apart for seven years, Rebecca Gayheart from Jawbreaker and Eric Dane of Euphoria have chosen to mend their relationship and rekindle their marriage. They’ve announced that they’ve called off the divorce proceedings.
On Wednesday, Gayheart submitted court documents to rescind the divorce petition she originally filed in February 2018. The couple, who have been married for 14 years, were reportedly experiencing irreconcilable differences, as mentioned by US Weekly when she filed for divorce.
Although they went through a divorce, they didn’t reach an agreement on settlements and have remained good friends since then. Frequently spotted in public, they often appear together, usually at social events where their teenage children, Billie, 15, and Georgia, 13, are present.
7 years ago, during the divorce proceedings, Gayheart requested shared custody of their children and financial support from the actor who stars in Grey’s Anatomy. In October 2018, Gayheart expressed to the media outlet that “We’re doing our best, it’s not easy, but we are trying and we remain committed.
Despite always denying any deeper involvement, it seems a shift has occurred between them, leading to their reunion. The specific reason driving Rebecca remains undisclosed, and neither party’s representatives have made any statements so far. The Sun was first to report about the new court documents being filed.
In simpler terms, they’ve had their fair share of turmoil, one notable instance being a highly publicized 2009 scandal where a video emerged showing them with another woman in a bathtub. This incident stirred up quite a commotion, but surprisingly, it did not seem to impact their marriage at the time.
