In the recently released animated film “Spellbound,” the titular character, Princess Ellian (portrayed by Rachel Zegler), encounters an uncommon predicament within her royal family: due to a baffling enchantment, her parents, the king and queen of Lumbria, have been transformed into colossal, destructive beasts.

In the trailer, Ellian is depicted struggling to control her beastly parents who are imprisoned by the kingdom’s forces. Her goal is to lift the enchantment that binds them. The movie “Spellbound” is helmed by Vicky Jenson, a collaborator on Shrek, and boasts music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater.

According to Netflix reports, Rachel Zegler, recognized for her part in West Side Story, expressed enthusiasm about contributing to an animated movie, finding inspiration from cherished animated films such as Beauty and the Beast.
