Rachel McAdams stunned at the 2026 Oscars in a beautiful golden dress that captured classic Hollywood style and elegance. The acclaimed actress, famous for films like The Notebook and Spotlight, paid tribute to Diane Keaton during the show, speaking fondly about the impact Keaton had as her mentor.
McAdams stunned in a long gown by Alberta Ferretti, part of the Fall/Winter 2026 collection. The dress was made of a shimmering, cream-gold fabric completely covered in sequins that sparkled with every move.
A flowing cape draped over her shoulders and arms, creating a majestic, Grecian-inspired style. The dress featured a high, rounded neckline and a smooth, floor-length cut, giving her a classic and elegant look on the red carpet.

She completed her look with striking jewelry from Sabyasachi High Jewellery. Her earrings were delicate 18k gold drops, featuring soft peach morganites and sparkling diamonds. A standout cocktail ring with a warm sapphire, highlighted by rows of sculpted diamonds, added a touch of glamour.
While honoring Diane Keaton, actress Rachel McAdams shared a touching story about Keaton mentoring her, saying Keaton taught her to always give her best effort, no matter how experienced you are.
She offered a blend of funny and sincere advice, saying, “Put all your heart into every performance, and you’ll only feel foolish about half the time.”
After the Oscars, Rachel McAdams spoke with Variety about her connection with Diane Keaton and what she’s learned from her. McAdams admitted she often doubts herself when working on projects. She recalled Keaton telling her during filming of The Family Stone that acting still didn’t feel easy for her, even though she appeared completely natural and dedicated. McAdams said this surprised her, and she still feels like she’s still learning the craft of acting.
This isn’t the first time McAdams has publicly celebrated Keaton this year. Back in January, she gave Keaton a shout-out when she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
