As a lifestyle expert with an eye for emerging talent and a deep appreciation for the power of storytelling, I am thrilled to see Wynn Everett and Quentin Plair join the cast of Hulu’s Chad Powers. Their diverse backgrounds and impressive resumes promise a dynamic addition to this already compelling series.
In the fresh half-hour comedy show, Chad Powers – a spin-off from an original sketch featuring Eli Manning that was aired on ESPN+ – is welcoming some new faces as regular members of the cast. Wynn Everett (from Ordinary Joe) and Quentin Plair (known for Apples Never Fall) will be joining forces with Glen Powell and other actors in the series.
As per The Hollywood Reporter’s reports, Plair and Everett have joined the already confirmed cast for Perry Mattfeld (as Ricky), Frankie A. Rodriguez (as Danny), and Steve Zahn (as Jake Hudson). In simpler terms, these two newcomers, Plair and Everett, are now part of a cast that previously included Perry Mattfeld, Frankie A. Rodriguez, and Steve Zahn in the roles of Ricky, Danny, and Jake Hudson respectively.
As Russ Holliday, a gifted quarterback on a struggling Southern football squad, I met an unfortunate end due to my misconduct in the captivating series created and overseen by Powell and Michael Waldron. Later, Powell, with his ingenious mind, assumed the persona of Chad Powers – a charismatic and skillful team member – and joined our struggling team.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Everett has been cast as Tricia, while Plair will portray Coach Byrd. Executive production duties are shared by Manning, alongside Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ben Brown, and ESPN’s team from Omaha Productions.
Waldron wrote the initial draft, while Anomaly Pictures is producing under Adam Fasullo’s direction. Conversely, Powell is serving as Executive Producer (EP) under his joint venture with Brainstorm for the project.
Actor Plair recently completed filming his character Marquis Cooper, opposite Zachary Levi, in director Joe Carnahan’s independent thriller titled Not Without Hope. In another project, you can see him on Peacock as Tyler Cruz, working alongside Sam Neill. His other notable roles include Roswell, New Mexico; Genius: MLK/X; and the critically acclaimed Showtime series The Good Lord Bird, which won a Peabody Award.
In various TV shows, Everett has taken on recurring roles including those in the Netflix series Teenage Bounty Hunters, HBO Max’s Doom Patrol, and Matt Reeves’ NBC sitcom Ordinary Joe. She starred as the main character in the TNT pilot Lumen, which was produced by Steven Spielberg, and portrayed a villain opposite Hayley Atwell in the second season of Marvel’s Agent Carter on ABC.
