PUBG Update 35.1 Brings Big Changes – New Gear, Better Combat, and Map Updates

As an enthusiastic fan, I’m thrilled to share that KRAFTON has rolled out Update 35.1 for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS on PC! Console players can expect it from April 17th. This update is packed with enhancements that not only refine the gameplay experience but also promote fairness and fun, making it an appealing choice for seasoned veterans or those returning after a brief hiatus.

As a devoted PUBG player, I’m thrilled about this latest update! It’s all about leveling up the gaming experience by making sure PUBG feels uniform across Normal, Ranked, and Esports modes. The aim is to ensure each map retains its distinct charm while streamlining the rules and gameplay for a more consistent experience overall.

  • Zipline Gun, Emergency Cover Flare, Stun Gun, and Self-AED (solo only) are now on all maps.
  • Blue Chip Transmitter, 4x Thermal Scope, and Spike Trap have been removed from all maps.

This helps players learn the game faster and keeps the loot more balanced.

From now on, you’ll find the Recall System operational across all game maps. In other words, should a teammate get eliminated, they can be revived and continue playing. This is true even for compact maps like Karakin and Paramo, where the system functions smoothly with well-adjusted settings. It adds an extra layer of excitement to matches by providing teams with a fresh start when needed.

Among the significant updates, you’ll find the introduction of the revamped Aim Punch mechanism. After being thoroughly tested among players, it’s now operational across the entire game.

  • Less screen shake when hit
  • More stable shooting
  • Higher skill ceiling for accurate players

This change makes fights feel more fair and rewards better aim.

In the latest update, version 35.1, introduces a fresh character enhancement feature called Contender. This allows you to amass and enhance complete costume sets within the Workshop. Not only do these costumes have a stylish appeal, but they can also be improved progressively over time.

To upgrade, you’ll need:

  • Contender Prime Parcels (from Archivist’s Chests)
  • Or Artisan Tokens (used in Special Crafting)

This gives players a new way to show off their progress and style.
