Propstore Horror Auction Includes Original SCREAM Ghostface Costume, Freddy Krueger’s Sweater, and More

As a lifelong aficionado of all things chilling and spine-tingling, I find myself utterly captivated by this ghoulishly delightful auction! It’s like stepping into a haunted mansion filled with relics from my favorite horror flicks.

For any dedicated horror movie enthusiast, the opportunity to own genuine artifacts from terrifying film history is an unparalleled dream. From legendary masks to weapons that strike fear into the heart of every viewer, these prized pieces of movie memorabilia are must-haves. Propstore is offering a select number of well-heeled fans the chance to make this dream a reality through a horror entertainment auction in August. The bidding will take place between August 15th and 18th, and for those who can’t attend in person, online registration is available here to participate from anywhere.

The biggest item for sale is the Ghostface costume that Billy Loomis and Stu Macher wore in the original Scream movie. The white mask and hooded black robe was originally created by Fun World as your standard Halloween costume until the 1996 film made it an iconic horror movie costume. The costume’s bidding price is estimated between $50K to a whopping $100K, with bids already exceeding the upper tier. Hopefully, it goes to someone who’s a straight up fan and not a random rich schmuck who likes to collect things for the hell of it.

Discussing the “Scream” series, the Omega Kappa Beta necklace that Sidney Prescott received from her late boyfriend Derek in “Scream 2” (1997) is being auctioned off. She wore this same necklace throughout “Scream 3” (2000). The estimated selling price for this piece ranges from $3,000 to $6,000.

As a horror game enthusiast, I can’t help but share some exciting finds from Propstore’s latest auction. Apart from some Scream memorabilia, there are other chilling items up for grabs such as the iconic hockey mask of Jason Voorhees, a piece that any Friday the 13th fan would kill for (pun intended), specifically from Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989). Also, if you’re a Nightmare on Elm Street aficionado like myself, don’t forget to bid on Freddy Krueger’s razor glove from Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child (1989). These are the stuff of nightmares and collector’s dreams!
