Priyanka Chopra has been consistently working on films in addition to her public appearances. In 2025, she appeared with John Cena and Idris Elba in the Prime Video action comedy Heads of State, where she played a top MI6 agent tasked with protecting the British Prime Minister and the U.S. President from a global threat. Although the film received generally mixed reviews, critics particularly praised Chopra’s performance, with Tim Grierson of The A.V. Club calling her “the film’s true action star.”
Priyanka Chopra will also be in a new action thriller called The Bluff, coming to Prime Video in February 2026. The film, set in the Cayman Islands during the late 1800s, stars Chopra and Karl Urban as a former pirate forced to face a troubled past.
Priyanka Chopra is also starring in the upcoming Indian film Varanasi, directed by S. S. Rajamouli. This will be her first Indian project since 2019 and her first in the Telugu language since 2013. With a budget of approximately $150 million (₹13 billion), Varanasi is the most expensive Indian film ever produced and is slated to release in 2027. Additionally, Chopra will appear in the Amazon MGM comedy Judgment Day in April 2025, marking her second time working with Zac Efron after their collaboration on Baywatch in 2017.
