Prince William Is Upset With Prince Harry For Speaking About Princess Diana’s Death In Interview; Claims Source

As a long-time follower of the British Royal Family and someone who grew up watching their every move, it is truly heartbreaking to see the rift between Princes William and Harry deepen. I remember the joy and excitement we all felt when Princess Diana graced us with her radiant smile and compassionate spirit. Her untimely death left a void that was difficult to fill, and the brothers’ bond was one of the few silver linings that emerged from that tragic event.

Ever since Prince Harry resigned from his royal duties in 2020, tension has persisted between him and his brother, Prince William. According to insider reports, the Prince of Wales is reportedly upset with Prince Harry for bringing up their mother, Princess Diana’s death during an interview with a media outlet. During a discussion on the ITV documentary Tabloids, the Duke of Sussex hinted at possible evidence showing that his mother’s phone was hacked in the 90s.

In the continuation of the interview, Prince Harry mentioned that it’s possible Lady Diana was among the earliest victims of phone hacking. Subsequently, a source close to the royal family stated that Prince William was extremely upset with his brother over exploiting Diana’s death for personal gain.

According to a confidant from within the British Royal Family, it seems that Prince Harry remains deeply preoccupied with his late mother, and this fixation has allegedly grown stronger since marrying Meghan. His brother, Prince William, is reportedly reaching a point where he feels distanced from Harry permanently.

In addition, it was disclosed that as the Prince of Wales pondered over reconciling with his brother, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle following their interview, he now feels unable to trust Harry. It was further reported that the bond between the two brothers has deteriorated.

Based on news accounts, Princes William and Harry had decided to speak less openly about their mother following her death in 1997. In an interview with ITV in 2017, Prince Charles mentioned, “We won’t be discussing her as candidly or publicly anymore because we believe this documentary will offer another perspective, from close family friends you may not have heard before, from those who had a close relationship with her, and from those who wish to honor her memory by reminding people of the person she truly was.”

Over the summer, it wasn’t included in the plans for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to visit Balmoral Castle with the rest of the family. Since their departure from the Palace in 2020, Prince Harry and the former Suits star have been residing in California, together with their kids.
