Prince Harry Visits Late Mother Princess Diana’s Childhood Home Amid Her Death Anniversary

As an ardent follower of the Royal Family, I must say that the recent visit of Prince Harry to Althorp House was a poignant and touching moment for me. The sight of him returning to his late mother’s birthplace, surrounded by family and memories, was a stark reminder of the enduring bond between the Spencer and Windsor families.

Lately, Prince Harry made a trip to Althorp Estate, where his dear mother Princess Diana was born, during his journey to the UK. During this visit, he resided with his uncle, Earl Spencer, on the property.

On August 29th, according to People’s report, it seemed that an unexpected visit by Prince Harry coincided with the memorial service for his uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes.

Fellowes, Diana’s sister Jane’s husband, passed away in 2018. The Duke of Sussex, as well as Prince William and Lady Sarah McCorquodale, were present at the service. This event took place two days before the 27th anniversary of Diana’s death, which occurred on August 31, 1997, due to a car accident in Paris.

Prince Harry and his senior brother, Prince William (currently not maintaining regular contact with Harry), attended a memorial service at St Mary’s Church located in the town of Snettisham, Norfolk.

It came as a surprise to many when the Prince made an appearance among the crowd of 300 people. One individual, speaking to a news outlet, expressed delight at Harry’s presence, describing him as noteworthy and pleased to be among the attendees.

On the anniversary of Princess Diana’s death, Charles, the 9th Earl Spencer, honored her memory on Instagram by sharing a collection of photographs spanning from her christening to her childhood years.

2 years prior to their last trip to the UK, Harry had taken his wife, Meghan Markle, to Althorp to pay respects at Lady Diana’s burial site. Her grave is situated on an island within the Round Oval Lake at Althorp.

In his book “Spare,” Harry reflected on the significance of revisiting the place, knowing full well it was never an easy task. However, this occasion held special importance as it marked the 25th anniversary of his mother’s passing and also represented the first time Meghan had been there with him.

In his book, Prince Harry expressed that no trip to this location was ever straightforward, but this particular visit – marking the 25th anniversary – was special as it was Meg’s initial time here. Lastly, I was delighted to introduce the woman of my dreams, Meg, to my mother for the first time. Following the placement of flowers on the grave, Harry paused for a while, contemplating his mother and seeking her guidance in spirit.
