Prince Harry Makes Meghan Markle’s Cooking Show Filming Move to Private Mansion To Protect Archie and Lilibet’s Privacy

As a lifestyle expert with over three decades of experience in the entertainment industry, I find it fascinating to observe the dynamic duo, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, navigating their post-royal lives. Their latest tussle over Archie and Lilibet’s privacy during filming for Markle’s upcoming Netflix cooking show is a testament to their divergent perspectives and unwavering commitment to their children’s wellbeing.

In a contrast with Meghan Markle’s stance, Prince Harry decided differently regarding a crucial privacy issue concerning their children, Archie and Lilibet, during the production of her upcoming cooking series on Netflix.

According to The Sun, Meghan expressed a preference for her young children to interact with the public, while Harry felt it would be best to shield them from media attention. Consequently, Harry chose not to include their children in their upcoming Netflix productions. The publication reported that while the couple have sometimes had differing opinions about media exposure for their children, in this instance, it seems Harry’s viewpoint has been upheld.

As a result, instead of filming her next cooking show at their 14 million dollar family residence, Meghan opted to film it in a mansion nearby, ensuring Archie and Lilibet’s privacy during the production process.

According to an earlier report by Deadline, Meghan Markle has wrapped up filming for her new Netflix cooking series. This is part of the couple’s 100 million USD five-year deal with Netflix. The show will blend cooking, gardening, entertainment, and friendship. Notably, Sony Pictures Television’s The Intellectual Property Corporation, which also produced Hulu’s The D’Amelio Show, is producing Markle’s series.

The production was carried out in spots like an upscale flower shop not far from Montecito and a multi-million dollar residence near the residence of Harry and Meghan. Notable culinary experts are involved in it, among them Michael Steed, who collaborated on Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown.

There’s concern that their Netflix deal may not be extended in 2025, as it wasn’t renewed after they stepped down from royal duties in 2020. This potential non-renewal could pose a challenge for the couple post-royal life, according to royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams. He mentioned to Mirror that if they lose this contract with Archewell (their business and charitable foundation), which currently has few donors, they might face financial difficulties.

Apart from his cooking series, Prince Harry is jointly creating a show about the U.S. polo championship as well. On the other hand, Meghan has established her own lifestyle brand named American Riviera Orchard and is gently marketing it through celebrity endorsements on various social media platforms.
