As a die-hard Power Rangers fan since its inception, I must say that this news about Hector David Rivera, our beloved Green Ranger, has left me utterly disheartened and bewildered. It is truly heart-wrenching to see an iconic figure from my childhood, who brought joy and inspiration to countless fans worldwide, find himself entangled in such a distressing situation.


News outlets are highlighting Hector David Rivera due to claims that he was issued an arrest warrant by police in Idaho. Known for his role as the Green Ranger in the live-action Power Rangers series, Rivera stands accused of pushing a man following an alleged altercation in a parking lot in Nampa, Idaho.

As reported by People magazine, the Nampa Police Department posted a video about the alleged event on social media platforms.

On July 26th, an unknown individual is reported to have pushed an elderly gentleman in his mid-sixties. The assailant then abandoned the man on the ground and fled in a black four-door pickup truck with Texas plates after pushing him down.

Nevertheless, it was observed by the authorities that the man did not sustain any injuries, and a bystander assisted him to his feet. Moreover, an announcement from the NPD verified that the individual in the video is indeed Hector David Rivera, aged 35, a resident of Nampa, who was identified as the suspect in the alleged battery incident posted on their social media on July 26th.

The representative mentioned that we are searching for a man named Hector David Jr., who is well-known as an actor and previously portrayed the Green Power Ranger. However, there’s an active warrant for his arrest due to misdemeanor battery charges. Unfortunately, we have not managed to find him yet, so he remains at large.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but gush over Hector David Rivera! Known for his electrifying role as the Green Ranger in various Power Rangers series, he’s also graced our screens with captivating performances in other films. From starring as George Banks’ son in Father of the Bride to embodying the enigmatic Percy Jackson in The Lightning Thief, his roles are nothing short of mesmerizing. Not to mention, his appearances in movies like The Sand and 1521: The Quest for Love and Freedom have left me absolutely spellbound!

Over the weekend, it was planned for Rivera to attend Magic Valley Comic-Con, however, following the recent event, it seems his name is no longer visible on the convention’s official website.
