According to People magazine, a prospective juror was excused from serving on the jury during the second day of the jury selection process for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ upcoming trial.

It is said that the termination took place on May 6 in the federal court in Manhattan, following an assertion made by Juror 48, a woman, who claimed in court that Diddy has substantial funds available to him, which could potentially be used to secure his release from jail.

When U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian requested an explanation of her statement, the potential juror apparently responded that she was unable to articulate it clearly.

I too shared a personal story about an instance where someone tried to assault me sexually, and I expressed my dissatisfaction with how the authorities handled the situation at the time.

According to the report, the potential juror said, “Police could take greater action, but they’re limited in what they can achieve,” and further commented, “It’s important to approach everything with a fresh perspective.” Following this statement, the juror was disqualified from the case.

To begin the jury selection process on the initial day, it is said that the founder of Bad Boy Records expressed feeling “a bit anxious” to the judge and was granted a brief restroom break, as reported by the news source.

Furthermore, potential jurors were inquired about their knowledge of famous personalities such as Kanye West, Mike Myers, Michael B. Jordan, Kid Cudi, and Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura. However, this does not automatically mean they will provide testimony during the trial, according to the report.

According to sources close to the situation, it’s been reported that the actor from Creed III won’t be required to testify during the upcoming trial. Additionally, it’s been clarified that his name came up due to a fleeting romance with Ventura in 2015, which was brought up in a lawsuit she filed.
