Only two days later, on Wednesday, Park filed her own petition in Los Angeles. Since Malone filed first, the legal jurisdiction is now with Utah, a state that has significantly lower child support costs compared to California.

According to sources, TMZ reports that Malone and Park had a 50/50 custody arrangement in Utah, influencing his decision to file there. It is said that Park moved to California at the start of 2025 following their breakup late in 2024. Insiders suggest that her relocation was primarily for financial reasons, potentially seeking better conditions for custodial parents in California.

For the very first time on a Friday, it was publicly disclosed who Malone’s former fiancée is. Reports also surfaced about her trying to get full custody. The name of their daughter, born on May 26, 2022, has not been revealed in court records; instead, she is identified as “DDP.

On the other hand, the “Sunflower” crooner has found love again and is currently dating Christy Lee, a student at Parsons School of Design.
