‘Twisters’ (2024)

‘Twisters’ tells the story of a storm chaser who returns to Oklahoma to try out a new, advanced storm-tracking system. She teams up with a daring social media personality as they face a season of unusually powerful and frequent storms. With multiple dangerous storm systems colliding, competing teams must battle to survive. This film is a continuation of the 1996 hit movie, but stands on its own, showcasing updated weather technology and thrilling storm action.
‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1’ (2014)

After surviving the 75th Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen ends up in the hidden District 13, where a rebellion is brewing. She’s chosen as the symbol of this uprising, meant to rally all the districts against the Capitol and its leader, President Coin. The story explores how both sides use manipulation and propaganda to win over the people of Panem. Throughout all this, Katniss is desperately trying to rescue Peeta Mellark, who has been captured and brainwashed by President Snow’s cruel government.
‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ (2013)

After winning the Hunger Games, Katniss and Peeta are sent on a tour of the districts. However, their act of rebellion has inspired unrest, and President Snow responds by announcing a special, brutal edition of the Games – the Quarter Quell. This forces past winners, including Katniss and Peeta, to fight to the death. The movie shows how tensions are rising and a secret group begins to form in opposition to the Capitol’s power.
‘Despicable Me 2’ (2013)

Gru, a former villain turned good, is asked by the Anti-Villain League to help catch a new criminal who’s stolen a powerful substance. Working with Agent Lucy Wilde, Gru investigates potential suspects while also trying to be a good dad. They soon discover the villain is El Macho, who intends to use the stolen substance on Gru’s Minions. The movie follows Gru as he adjusts to life as an undercover agent instead of a criminal mastermind.
‘Despicable Me’ (2010)

Gru, a notorious supervillain, comes up with a wild plan to steal the Moon and become famous. He intends to use a shrinking ray to pull it off. As part of his scheme, he adopts three orphan girls – Margo, Edith, and Agnes – hoping they’ll help him sneak into the heavily guarded fortress of his rival, Vector. However, Gru unexpectedly starts to care for the girls, and a father-daughter relationship begins to grow. The movie also introduces the lovable, yet clumsy, Minions, who are Gru’s dedicated helpers in the lab.

He’s suddenly in a bizarre world where ogres are the hunted, and he’s never even met Fiona. Now, Shrek has to find a way to undo the contract and fix his timeline before time runs out.
‘Bugonia’ (2025)

‘Bugonia,’ directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, follows two men who believe in conspiracy theories. They kidnap a powerful businesswoman, convinced she’s an alien planning to destroy Earth. The film is a new take on the South Korean sci-fi favorite ‘Save the Green Planet!’ and continues the successful working relationship between Lanthimos and Emma Stone, who is known for her award-winning performances.
‘Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie’ (2025)

‘Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie’ adapts the beloved preschool TV show for the big screen, blending live-action with animation. Gabby and her best friend, Pandy Paws, go on a brand new adventure that takes them outside of the dollhouse for the first time. They’ll need to work together and use their smarts to overcome obstacles in a fantastical new place. The movie builds on the world of ‘Gabby’s Dollhouse’ while still celebrating imagination and believing in yourself.
‘Black Phone 2’ (2025)

‘Black Phone 2’ continues the story of the terrifying first film, following a masked kidnapper known as the Grabber. Director Scott Derrickson returns, and Ethan Hawke is back as the villain, digging deeper into the strange, supernatural way his victims communicate. The new movie expands on the original’s frightening world and introduces fresh characters who must confront the Grabber’s terrifying history.
