The announcement of Pope Francis‘ passing left people worldwide in a state of stunned surprise. Over a quarter of a million individuals visited to show their tributes throughout the three-day memorial service. The choice of attire worn by Trump during the conclusion of the funeral ceremonies sparked criticism from many who considered it as being in poor taste.

Individuals on social media voiced their displeasure upon observing Donald Trump donning a blue suit at Pope Francis’ funeral, contrasting with the primarily black attire worn by others such as Melania Trump.

One individual inquired, “Why doesn’t Trump opt for a black suit? It seems disregardful.” Another labeled him as a “insensitive” president and described him as a “foolish” person.

I, too, found myself questioning Donald Trump’s etiquette at funerals, as his choice of a blue suit raised eyebrows. A particular remark that resonated was, “There seems to be something about Trump that made him overlook the simple gesture of wearing a black tie.

The funeral, starting at 10 a.m., stretched on for quite some time. The initial ceremony took place at St. Peter’s Basilica, after which the body was transferred to St. Mary Major, centrally located in Rome.
