The upcoming Pokemon series, focusing on the character known as Red, is anticipated to breathe life into the cherished Pokemon universe. Fans of this franchise will recall Red from the comics, video games, and animated shows, since Ash Ketchum was modeled after him. Netflix could potentially draw inspiration from the anime miniseries, as it successfully introduced Red in its initial generation.

Since the live-action adaptation in 2021, Netflix hasn’t shared any updates about Pokemon. The 2019 movie, distributed by Warner Bros. and The Pokemon Company, starred Ryan Reynolds as Detective Pikachu.
