Pokémon Legends: Z-A features a large number of side quests – more than 100! – and they vary in complexity. Some are simple, like defeating a Pokémon or collecting an item. Others are more like puzzles, requiring players to investigate and solve mysteries.

Side Mission #106, “Klefki’s Lost Key,” asks you to find a missing key by following clues and giving it back to its owner. This guide will show you where to locate the key in Pokémon Legends: Z-A and what you’ll get as a reward for completing the mission.

Klefki’s Lost Key walkthrough – Legends ZA 

Okay, so I just found out about this Side Mission called “Klefki’s Lost Key” – it’s number 106. You start it by finding Cadena, she’s hanging around near the Hotel Richissime. But heads up, you can’t start it right away! You need to have finished the Lysandre Lab part of the main story – specifically, Main Mission #45 – before you can even talk to her.

Cadena explains that her Klefki is missing a key, which it lost while she was out for the day. She remembers going to a hair salon, then a cafe, and after that, she had a battle on the battle court located behind the cafe.

We found one place that matches what you’re looking for. It’s Cafe Classe, located in Vert Sector 4. You’ll find it just north of a hair salon and right across the street from the Vernal Pokémon Center. There’s a battle court located behind the cafe.

Go to the Vernal Pokémon Center (or Cafe Classe if you’ve been there before). Before you reach the alleyway across from the entrance to Wild Zone 12, head south and go into the alley. You’ll see a bright sparkle on the ground – interact with it to trigger a cutscene and complete the quest.

Completing Klefki’s Lost Key quest gives you 5000 Poké Dollars and a Nugget, which you can sell for another 5000 Poké Dollars.
