Pokémon Legends: Z-A features a huge variety of Pokémon, including fan favorites like Pikachu and Eevee, as well as some unusual creatures like Barbaracle and Stunfisk. Finding certain Pokémon in Lumiose City can be challenging, and Goomy is one of the most elusive you might try to catch.

This guide will show you where to find Goomy in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and how to evolve it into Sliggoo and then Goodra.

Goomy location – Legends ZA 

You can find the Dragon-type Pokémon Goomy early in the game, but it’s very rare. It only appears in a few spots around Lumiose City when it’s raining. While rain isn’t common – most of the time it’s sunny or cloudy – you can make it rain by sitting on a bench and advancing the in-game time until the weather changes.

You can find Goomy more reliably later in the game. It appears occasionally in the Lumiose Sewers, and the weather doesn’t affect its spawn rate. You’ll go to the Lumiose Sewers as part of the story, and after that, you can go back using a new entrance in the Bleu Sector 3 area.

Goomy is a rare Pokémon found in the sewers. If you don’t find it right away, you can quickly reset all the Pokémon that appear by leaving and re-entering the sewers.

How to evolve Goomy – Legends ZA 

Goomy turns into Sliggoo at level 40. If you found a Goomy in the Lumiose Sewers—where they’re typically around levels 35 to 37—it shouldn’t take long to reach that point.

To evolve Sliggoo into Goodra, you’ll need to reach level 50 while it’s raining. It’s a bit tricky, but not too hard to do!

You can find Sliggoo roaming around in many areas of the city. Goodra, in its fully evolved form, is a rare Alpha Pokémon that appears in the Wild Zone 20.
