Pokémon Legends: Z-A features a vast number of Pokémon, and you’ll find most of them in large, open areas called Wild Zones. These zones allow Pokémon to wander freely and safely around people. You start with a few Wild Zones around Lumiose City, but more become available as you play. You can even unlock the final Wild Zone – number 20 – after you finish the main story.

Mable needs your help with her Pokémon research! Each Wild Zone has specific Pokémon she’s studying, and she’s asked you to catch them. While you might find other Pokémon there, it’s the ones listed for each zone on the map that Mable really needs. The tricky part is, if you haven’t discovered a Pokémon yet, it’ll appear as a question mark on the map, so you won’t know exactly what to look for.

We created this guide to show you every Pokémon that appears in each Wild Zone of Pokémon Legends: Z-A. It lists Pokémon as they appear on the map, so you can easily see what you haven’t found yet. We’ve also included details about when and how to find them, like specific times of day or weather conditions.

You don’t need to catch every Pokémon in each area to complete the task. If you catch a Pokémon like Pidgey in one zone, it counts as caught in other zones too. Similarly, evolving a Pokémon into one required for a specific zone – like evolving Haunter – also marks it as completed for that zone.
