Pokémon Legends: Z-A handles Pokémon evolution differently than the previous game. While Pokémon Legends: Arceus let you evolve Pokémon even without trading, Z-A brings back the traditional method – some Pokémon can only evolve if you trade them with another player.
We’ll show you how trading works and provide a complete list of all Pokémon that need to be traded to evolve.
While trading isn’t the only way Pokémon evolve, it’s a challenging one. We’ve also compiled lists of Pokémon that evolve through friendship and those that evolve using evolution stones, to help you complete your Pokédex!
