
As a total film and TV buff, I’ve been checking out what’s new on Apple TV+, and they’ve got a lot happening! They’re dropping brand new shows while also bringing back series I already love – everything from intense dramas and thrillers to laugh-out-loud comedies and mind-bending sci-fi. I’ve put together some quick guides to the most popular shows right now – what they’re about, who stars in them, and when episodes are released – so you can easily find something great to watch next.
‘Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars’ (2025–)

This documentary series gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the world of Michelin-starred restaurants. It follows chefs as they strive for recognition and the anonymous inspectors who decide which restaurants earn the coveted stars. Premiering on Apple TV+ in October 2025, each episode is around 47 minutes long and the series is suitable for ages 13 and up. The show provides a unique glimpse into how the Michelin Guide makes its decisions.
‘Invasion’ (2021–)

This series explores how people around the world react when aliens land on Earth. It first appeared on Apple TV+ in 2021 and has continued with several seasons. The show features actors like Golshifteh Farahani and Shamier Anderson, and each episode lasts between 33 and 58 minutes.
‘Slow Horses’ (2022–)

This gripping spy series, starring Gary Oldman as the tough-as-nails Jackson Lamb, follows a group of disgraced MI5 agents relegated to the backwater office of Slough House. It premiered in 2022 and is ongoing, with new seasons available on Apple TV+. The show is based on the “Slough House” novels by Mick Herron, and each season adapts one book in the series. Most episodes are less than an hour long.
‘Ted Lasso’ (2020–2023)

This comedy-drama series centers on an American football coach who takes the reins of an English soccer club. It stars Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, and Juno Temple. All three seasons were released on Apple TV+ between 2020 and 2023. Bill Lawrence and Jason Sudeikis are among the show’s producers, and each episode typically runs between 30 and 50 minutes.
‘Loot’ (2022–)

Billionaire Molly Novak, fresh off a huge divorce, throws herself back into her charitable work and tries to create a more normal life. This funny show started in 2022 on Apple TV+ and has continued with several seasons. The show stars Maya Rudolph, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Joel Kim Booster, and Ron Funches, with each episode lasting around 23 to 30 minutes.
‘Palm Royale’ (2024–)

This series, set in the glamorous world of Palm Beach in 1969, centers on a determined woman trying to climb the social ladder and gain acceptance among the elite. The show stars Kristen Wiig, Laura Dern, Allison Janney, and Ricky Martin. The first season debuted on Apple TV+ in 2024, with each episode lasting around 49 minutes.
‘Down Cemetery Road’ (2025–)

This British thriller, adapted from a novel by Mick Herron, starts with a puzzling house explosion in a quiet Oxford neighborhood. A curious neighbor joins forces with a professional private investigator to uncover what happened. The eight-episode series debuted on Apple TV+ in late October 2025, with each episode lasting around 51 minutes. It comes from the same team that made ‘Slow Horses’.
‘The Morning Show’ (2019–)

This TV drama takes viewers behind the scenes of a popular morning news show, focusing on the relationships and challenges faced by its hosts, portrayed by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. Since its debut on Apple TV+ in 2019, the series has aired several seasons, also starring Billy Crudup, with each episode lasting about an hour.
‘The Last Frontier’ (2025–)

This series, set in Alaska, centers around a U.S. marshal’s pursuit of dangerous inmates who escape after their transport plane crashes. Created by Jon Bokenkamp and Richard D’Ovidio, the show features Jason Clarke, Dominic Cooper, and Haley Bennett. The first season premiered on Apple TV+ in October 2025, with each episode lasting between 52 and 61 minutes.
‘Pluribus’ (2025–)

Created by Vince Gilligan, this sci-fi drama features Rhea Seehorn as a deeply unhappy woman who unexpectedly finds herself responsible for saving the world from a forced state of happiness. The show debuted on Apple TV+ in 2025, with each episode lasting around 56 minutes. It’s categorized as both a drama and science fiction series, and stars Rhea Seehorn alongside Karolina Wydra.
