Ah, the sweet, bitter irony of it all! After nearly three years of silence (and probably plotting), the elusive analyst PlanB has decided to respond to Vitalik Buterin’s mocking jab at his beloved Stock-to-Flow model. This time, there’s no holding back, and Ethereum (ETH) is the victim of his wrath. PlanB, apparently with no love lost, dubbed it a “centralized premined shitcoin.” Oh, how polite of him! 🙄
PlanB, the anonymous mastermind behind Bitcoin‘s (BTC) Stock-to-Flow model—never mind that it’s been battered by market realities like a ship in a storm—took to X to declare that Ethereum now looks worse than ever. With a gleam of bitter sarcasm in his eyes, he slammed ETH’s centralized nature, its premined status, and its flawed proof-of-stake mechanism, throwing in a flexible supply schedule for good measure. Naturally, all of these things, according to him, are harmful to the crypto world. Certainly not the innocent utopia some had hoped for! 💀
Ethereum is really not looking good now
I know it’s impolite to gloat and all that, but I think shitcoins like ETH, that are centralized & premined, have PoS instead of PoW, switch supply schedule at will, are harmful and deserve all the mockery they get

So much for good manners, eh? But hey, he’s honest at least. Ethereum is now under the spotlight—an ugly one. The crypto world watches with bated breath as Ethereum’s momentum seems to be in a coma, with PlanB throwing shade like there’s no tomorrow. Ah, how the tables turn.
Stock-to-flow is really not looking good now.
I know it’s impolite to gloat and all that, but I think financial models that give people a false sense of certainty and predestination that number-will-go-up are harmful and deserve all the mockery they get.

Back in June 2022, Buterin had the audacity to take a swipe at PlanB’s model, just as Bitcoin’s price proved to be a petulant child who wouldn’t listen to the rules of S2F. Buterin—oh, the gall—scoffed at the idea of models providing a false sense of certainty, especially when numbers fail to align. Touché, Vitalik. But what a delightfully smug remark!
Fast forward to today, and PlanB’s words are now laced with the fragrance of sweet vengeance. Ethereum’s price remains as stagnant as a puddle on a rainy day, while the Ethereum Foundation seems to have made it their daily ritual to dump tokens. The crypto community watches with popcorn in hand, eagerly awaiting the drama to unfold. 🍿
PlanB, never one to mince words, took the liberty of labeling Ethereum a full-fledged “shitcoin” in yet another delightful post. No fixed supply schedule? Check. No monetary policy? Check. Never outperformed Bitcoin? Check. Oh, and don’t forget the ‘premine’—it’s like the cherry on top of a truly horrendous crypto cake. The Ethereum Foundation’s token dumps are nothing short of a big red flag. But who’s surprised, really? 💣
